162 days and counting!!

WOW, does time fly! I can't believe it is coming up so soon and there is still so much to be done!

We finally got a few things confirmed this week which is OHH SO EXCITING! The florist that I loved from the Bridal Show is booked and she is awesome. She is such a nice lady and we have all the confidence in the world in her that she is going to create some beautiful things.

The DJ is also ready to go. He has been to Pasadera many many times, so he knows how to have a good time and make this a fun event for all. I hope you all have your dancing shoes on!

We met with the videographer last night. And he and his wife are just great. We had thought we didn't want videography, then we won two hours and what a blessing. HOORRRAY FOR FREE THINGS!!They do some really cool videos and pictures and make a movie for us and he also said he would give us all the tapes (I love a good out take :D)

Still need to figure out who is marrying us, the cake and the invites. I was also thinking of a coffee bar. Do you all like coffee? We will have beer/wine/cocktails....don't you worry, but I don't really drink much and I love a good cup of fancy shmancy coffee. What do you think?? We aren't going to have a big sit down meal, it is going to be more of a cocktail party/reception. Where we get done with the ceremony, take a group pic (hopefully), then get the music going and start having a good time with you all. We will have heavy hors' dourves and desserts of all kinds. OK?? Let me know about the coffee, I don't want to be the only one with my iced nonfat caramel macchiato :D

Are you all ok with getting your hotels? Let me know if I can help?? August is a busy time of year and places get full fast. There are lots of Bed and Breakfasts, big hotels and small hotels around. If you are flying in you can fly into Monterey, but it is much more expensive. If you fly into San Jose it is about an hour drive from us or San Francisco is only an hour and a half. Usually you can get cheaper tickets and rent a car. When you get here, we will have lots of great things you all can do and places to go! You will love it out here and we can't wait to have you all come!

I'm in favor of the coffee bar, as long as they have tea or chai latte's :)!!

Got the hotel booked: Holiday Inn Express 189 Seaside Circle, Marina, CA.

Looking forward to it.

I don't think I'll be having any coffee, I'm sure Carolyn probably would though, I'll ask her when she gets back from Knoxville... (If I did decide to have any coffee though, it would be just plain old black coffee :)

We finally have settled on that house nearby and are going to stay there a week...

We are getting quite excited about the trip, the kids keep asking me "How many more days??" :)

Andrew loves coffee and he doesn't really drink - so he'd like the coffee bar. I like tea, but not coffee. It sounds like it's going to be loads of fun - we're really looking forward to it!

We are staying at the same hotel as Josh - our reservation is from Thursday until Sunday. If we end up having more time (depending on how much time Andy can get off of work), we'll use it to visit nearby areas - I really want to take my family to San Francisco since they haven't been - it's so gorgeous there. I can't wait!! :)

We are all looking forward to coming, we'll likely stay in San Fransicso again for a few days prior to heading to the house on 7/29, as Cory and Jessica have never been, plus we want to visit Alcatraz... :)

Alcatraz... I have never been. Always wanted to, I heard it is really cool. We will have to make it up there sometime.

Glad to hear you all are taking advantage of being in the area. It is so pretty around here and there is so much to see and do. I hope you all have a great time.

Petra- the aquarium around here is pretty cool too. The kids would love it! I am SOO excited you all will be here. Save the date cards are still to come! YIIPPEEE
